MEET THE MAKER
Hi, my name is Av Wilmesherr, I'm the founder of Rusty Bucket Acre's and The Mistress of Soap. As long as I can remember I have always been artistic (if you will) and loved creating. I started making my own soap and bath products because of my youngest daughter who was allergic to poison ivy. It evolved and Rusty Bucket Acre's was born!
We offer hundreds of products for all your bath & home needs! Each product represents my explosive personality. I pour my heart, blood, sweat and tears into every product. I am faithful to tried and tested recipes. Our products are made with high-quality, homegrown attitude that can't be duplicated. Handcrafted in small batches and soaps made in the traditional way with lye.
Choosing the name was the most important for me. I get asked often why Rusty Bucket Acre's? Simply, it is our Homestead. When my husband I built our life on the land he had owned for years, we found several old rusted buckets. The land was telling us what our homestead should be called.
When I'm not making products in the studio you can find me in the woods foraging, gardening, canning and tending to the animals! I have a passion for providing for my family and learning. I also love slow Sunday mornings spent with my husband and my fur babies!
HOW IT STARTED
Rusty Bucket Acre's is a Missouri-based home soap company. Av founded Rusty Bucket Acre's in 2015 and has ran it as a one woman show for many years. We have since grown and recruited friends & family to work. Av designs & produces the entire line from the homestead.
Our Artisan Soaps are handcrafted with high quality ingredients specifically chosen to ensure a hard, long lasting and cleansing bar of soap. Handmade in small batches at our soap studio in Missouri, these bars are cut by hand, while we aim for our bars to weight 4.5 Oz (128 g) per bar, there might be a slight variation in size and color.
When properly taken care of, handmade soap can last sometimes longer than commercial soaps. We recommend you keep your soap bar in a dry, ventilated area and allow the water to fully drain after each use.
Since all of our soap is handcrafted and handmade, we do our best to describe and photograph its physical qualities. The soap you receive may not look exactly like the one in the picture but that is because every bar of soap is very unique in it being specially handmade.
OUR STANDARDS
At Rusty Bucket Acre's, high quality ingredients are of the utmost importance. When shopping with us, you can be 100% confident you are receiving a clean, nontoxic product that upholds the highest standards.
Our entire line is Phthalate free and meet the rigorous 'non-toxic' standard. Rusty Bucket Acre's products are free from all carcinogens, reproductive toxins, and other potentially hazardous chemicals often found in fragrance.
ALL OF OUR FRAGRANCE BLENDS ARE FREE OF:
✖ Carcinogens: These are materials known or thought to cause cancer.
✖ Mutagens: Materials that change the DNA of a cell, harming the cell and causing diseases like cancer.
✖ Reproductive toxins: Toxins that adversely affect reproductive organs and increase the risk of birth defects.
✖ Organ toxins: These are toxins that can cause adverse effects or disease within specific bodily organs.
✖ Acute toxins: Toxins that can cause adverse effects from a single exposure. Generally, this would be accidental exposure like spillage or ingestion.
SHIPPING POLICY
PROCESSING TIME: All orders are processed within 3-5 business days then ship via USPS 2 - 3 day priority. You will receive email notification when your order has been processed and on it's way.
SHIPPING INFO: Orders are shipped via USPS Priority Mail
RETURNS/EXCHANGES: Because of the nature of the items, all sales are final. NO EXCEPTIONS.
If you should need to report a broken or damaged item please message or email with defective photos and within 3 days of receiving. Broken or damaged items will not be replaced without proof of photo.
RUSTY BUCKET ACRE'S IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY LOST OR STOLEN PACKAGES. If you suspect your package has been lost, stolen, or delivered to the wrong address you will need to contact your local post office as we do not have any control over postal service.
